Summary:
Suki (aka "Suki Dakara Suki" translated as "I like, therefore I like") is one of, if not the only Clamp story which contains absolutely no magic or strange technology. It's a simple story, 3 volumes long, about a naive-but-scholastically-brilliant girl who lives alone and attends school. She gets a mysterious new next-door neighbor, about whom rumors swirl. It turns out that he's a teacher at her school, and a one-sided friendship develops between them. Is he a pervert? Strange? I'm not going to tell...But I've enjoyed this manga immensely. You either love it or hate it, mostly due to the simple art, which isn't nearly as over-the-top beautiful as most Clamp works.
There is no anime based on this work.
