Summary:
Watanuki sees dead people. Well, okay, not dead people. Instead, he sees spirits of all kinds and this really bothers him. He stumbles upon a special "store" that grants any wish a person might desire....for a price. In Watanuki's case, he has to agree to become a glorified housekeeper for the owner of the shop, the Dimension Witch, Yuko. People with various problems come to Yuko to make their problems disappear, but a magical woman can only do so much...it's up to the person herself to deal with some issues.
xxxHolic is a cross-over with Clamp's other new ongoing series, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. While not as action-packed as Tsubasa, xxxHolic manages an eerie, compelling series of vignettes. It is being published in English by Del Rey's new manga line.
There is no anime at this time, but an xxxHolic movie will be out in Japan shortly (and of course expect an English-language version to follow!).
